Canva is a great tool to help design posters, presentations, banners, infographics and more!  Use already made templates or start from scratch, it can present work in a visual way. Available on iPad and online.  








Sway is a new application and can be accessed though Office 365. It provides a different way to present your work as it provides more modern transitions and animations between slides. It can also be access on Windows Phone and Apple devices. 







Skitch can be used to mark up images and maps with shapes and arrows to help point out important information such as annotating evidence. This app also links with Evernote making any mark ups accessible across all devices. Skitch is available on Apple, Android and Windows Phone devices. 









Assignment Help Apps

Do need help with planning assignments, referencing or grammar, the apps below have this covered!




Trello can help you stay organised! You can categorise boards in relation to which assignment you are working on. The boards can be used to write any to dos or ideas for your assignment. You can also add attachments to each board and images. Trello is available Apple, Android, Windows Phone and online.








RefME is a quick referencing tool, it supports a variety of referencing formats including Harvard. Using the camera on your device you can scan the ISBN number of any book and it will create the reference for you. You can also input sources manually. RefME can be accessed on Apple and Android device, also you can create and access your bibliographies online. 







Grammarly is an online application which helps to check grammar and spelling. It will read through your document and suggest any changes. It is a great addition to using Word and you can just copy and paste or upload your document for the app to look through.
